Senior Attorney Scott Riddell Joins Capua Law

Capua Law is excited to announce that Scott Riddell has joined Capua Law as a Senior Attorney.

Scott brings over 10 years of legal experience to Capua Law. Originally from Houston, Texas, he attended UNC-Chapel Hill for undergrad, majoring in Philosophy. After serving in the Navy for six years both as enlisted and an officer, Scott attended law school at the Charleston School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 2016. While in law school, he was on law review and the moot court team and was a legal writing teaching fellow. Scott has litigated civil matters for plaintiffs and defendants, as well as probate matters. He began his legal career practicing in South Carolina but moved to the Asheville area with his family in 2024 continuing his career as a solo practitioner before joining Capua Law in 2026.

In his free time, Scott likes to spend time with his family, garden, and write music.
