ABOUT CAPUA LAW
Capua Law provides strategic legal counsel to construction businesses whose legal needs extend beyond a single project, contract, or dispute. We help contractors, builders, developers, subcontractors, and construction-related businesses manage risk, protect cash flow, strengthen operations, and plan for long-term value.
The firm was founded in 2009 by Paul Capua, an AV-Preeminent® rated civil trial lawyer whose practice has focused for more than three decades on U.S. and international construction law, business disputes, employment disputes, litigation, and arbitration. A former shareholder of the international litigation firm Astigarraga Davis Mullins & Grossman, P.A., Paul brings litigation-tested judgment to complex matters and a practical ability to simplify what is difficult, disputed, or high-stakes.
Capua Law has grown into a multi-state firm with offices in Asheville and Boone, North Carolina, and Miami, Florida. That growth has allowed the firm to support construction clients through both proactive business counsel and serious dispute advocacy.
Andrea Capua joined Capua Law in 2024 as a Partner. A former Partner of di Santi Capua & Garrett, PLLC, Andrea brings 35 years of legal experience in business, local government, real estate, construction-related matters, estate planning and administration, and family law. Her background strengthens the firm’s stewardship work by helping construction clients address the legal infrastructure behind the business, including ownership, succession, real estate, governance, and operational risk.
Capua Law’s construction practice is built around two commitments: Stewardship and Advocacy.
Stewardship is the work of strengthening a construction business before a problem arises.
Advocacy is the work of protecting the business when risk becomes immediate.
Our mission is to provide focused, strategic, and practical representation that serves the business as well as the legal matter. We work to become an essential part of our clients’ team, helping them protect the work, the business, and the future they are building.
A relationship you can build on.
